Bull’s Head Rare Books was established in 2020 by Alex Obercian after more than a dozen years in the New York City book trade. BHRB deals in rare books and manuscripts in all fields, with specialties in literature, architecture, Americana, photography, music, and country life pursuits — gardening, farming, landscape design, and animal husbandry. BHRB also prepares USPAP-compliant appraisals for insurance or tax purposes related to donation or estate planning.

Bull’s Head Rare Books is a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America (ABAA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB) and Alex Obercian is a Certified member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA).
